Gavin will be spending his senior year at the University of Newcastle in Australia.

He is now in Cambodia after having spent over a week in Thailand on his way there.
Classes don't start until the middle of February, so he and Nina, his traveling companion who is also a UNM exchange student to Newcastle, are taking their time getting there by way of some exotic adventures in Indochina. See his blog at
